Ideas for gatherings
- Host a picnic on your lawn; offer food and fun for people in the immediate neighborhood of your building
- Host a block party; work with area neighborhood association and offer your building/lawn/parking lot as the place to hold the event
- Have your youth group hand out invitations and flyers (downloadable on our web site)
- Involve your members in providing entertainment for the NND gathering, such as singing, performing music, face-painting, sports, games, anything that gets people interacting together
- Organize a neighborhood clean-up in the blocks surrounding your building
- Offer an educational program on a mission project so that others can join in
- Organize your community to assist a family in the neighborhood
